- Ribbon cutting at 12:30 p.m.
- Free food for the first 200 guests
- Free and open to the public
One family. Twenty-eight years.
In 1996, Elisabeth Vazquez had an idea: travel through Mexico in search of pieces that felt discovered rather than manufactured. She and her husband, Ricky, spent the next two years seeking out makers and stepping inside workshops, and in 1999 those discoveries became The Rustic Gallery's first showroom. Today their sons, Jonathan and Anthony, work alongside them. "We go town by town until we find the person who makes something nobody else makes, and then we bring it home," Elisabeth said. "When a piece sells, it's gone. There isn't another one."
